Assistant Professor Geriatric Pharmacotherapy, Director of Clinical and Educational Programs at the Peter Lamy Center on Drug Therapy and Aging, Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science, University of MD School of Pharmacy. She earned her doctorate in pharmacy in 1997, completed a residency in geriatrics and joined the faculty of University of Maryland after a year of service as the coordinator of pharmacy educational and clinical services at the Rosewood Center and Spring Grove Hospital.

She oversees the geriatrics pathway for PharmD students as well as directing an accredited geriatric pharmacotherapy residency.  Her research interests have focused on medication management issues as well as improving the use of cholinesterase inhibitors in a VA setting. She is actively involved in the community through various aging agencies and educational boards. Recently, she has been awarded 2002 Pharmacist of the Year for the MD State ASCP Chapter as well as receiving Human Health Care Pharmacy Recognition Award for pharmacists who provide services to the betterment of Alzheimer’s patients and families.
