of managed care plans in public insurance programs (Medicaid and
the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)) and
access and satisfaction for children with chronic health
conditions. Recently completed research examined patterns of
insurance coverage for children with special health care needs
and their families, and the effects of the SCHIP expansions on
eligibility, insurance coverage and access to care for these
children. Dr. Davidoff’s research has been published in
Pediatrics, Maternal and Child Health Policy, Medical Care,
