The Lamy Center is a collaborative research and
education center housed in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health
Services Research in the School of Pharmacy. There are two types
of Center membership: core faculty, who have a primary research
and/or practice specialty in geriatric pharmacotherapy, and
affiliate faculty, who are frequent collaborators on Lamy Center
projects.
Currently, the Center has five core faculty and ten
faculty affiliates representing the Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine,
and Nursing. The Center also maintains close collaborative
relationships with faculty and other research centers at other
academic institutions including Harvard University, Howard
University, the Johns Hopkins University, the University of
Massachusetts, the Medical College of South Carolina, the
Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
Staff support is provided by two full-time and two part-time
employees. The Center also supports graduate students through its
grants and contracts.
