Description

Center for Minority Health Services Research

Under this subcontract, analytic support is provided to the researchers at Howard University. The goal of the project for this subcontract is to assess the usefulness and validity of the MEPS database in the analysis of HIV diagnosis and treatment data. Specific aims are (1) to examine the usefulness of MEPS of HIV diagnosis data (2) to examine the utilization patterns of antiretroviral drugs in patients (3) to examine utilization patterns of antiretroviral drugs by usual source of payment (4) to examine utilization patterns of complementary and alternative therapies and compare treatments of HIV patients and other patients.
