Thomas Shaffer, MHS,
is a Research Analyst who comes to the Lamy center with a long
history of data analysis experience. Before joining the Center he
was a Research Fellow at the Agency for Healthcare Research and
Quality (AHRQ) where he was involved in both intramural and
extramural work in long-term care. He is currently involved in a
number of projects involving prescription medications and the
elderly. Mr. Shaffer received his Master of Health Science
degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health
and is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Gerontology
at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and University of
Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
