Mark your calendars for the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy's Annual Academy of Preceptors Dinner and Continuing Education (CE) Program.
About the Event:
The Academy of Preceptors Dinner and Continuing Education (CE) Program is an annual live seminar and dinner for all preceptors at the School of Pharmacy. The program will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. There is no cost to attend this activity for preceptors from the School of Pharmacy.
This year's program is entitled "The Pharmacists' Patient Care Process (PPCP): How to Incorporate it into Experiential Learning" (UAN # 0025-0000-17-009-L04-P; Contact Hours: 2.0). At the conclusion of this activity, preceptors should be able to:
- Identify the importance and key steps of the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process.
- Describe the implications of the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process on the pharmacist's practice.
- Discuss how teaching the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process can be incorporated into rotations.
Online registration will close Friday, April 21, 2017. On-site registration will be available for those individuals who were unable to meet the online registration deadline.
This event will be offered at two locations for the convenience of our preceptors. Preceptors may choose to attend this event at:
- Pharmacy Hall
20 North Pine Street
- Universities at Shady Grove
9636 Gudelsky Drive
Building III, Room 2202
Activities will take place in Rooms N103 and N111 in Pharmacy Hall. At Shady Grove, activities will be presented via live videoconference in Building III, Room 2202.
