The Academy of Preceptors Dinner and Continuing Education (CE) Program is an annual live seminar and dinner designed for all School of Pharmacy preceptors. The program will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. There is no cost to attend this activity for preceptors from the School of Pharmacy.

Course Objectives:

This year's program is entitled "The Pharmacists' Patient Care Process (PPCP): How to Incorporate it into Experiential Learning" (UAN # 0025-0000-17-009-L04-P; Contact Hours: 2.0). At the conclusion of this activity, preceptors should be able to:

  • Identify the importance and key steps of the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process.
  • Describe the implications of the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process on the pharmacist's practice.
  • Discuss how teaching the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process can be incorporated into rotations.

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Successful completion of this activity requires participants' signature on a signature sheet, participation in the entire activity, and completion of an online activity evaluation survey. Statements of credit will be posted to participants' CPE Monitor profile within three weeks of successful completion of this activity.
