Information for incoming PharmD students as they prepare for their first year at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy

• Accept your offer of admission.
• Pay your tuition deposit.
• Apply for Maryland in-state residency through the Office of the Registrar.
• Complete the FAFSA using UMB Code 002104.
• Enroll in or waive out of student health insurance.
• Review and complete immunization requirements.
• View laptop requirements.
• Take a look at housing options.
• Explore UMB Student Affairs resources.
• Review the incoming student requirements.
• View upcoming events below including Welcome Day (June) and Orientation (August)
• Complete and submit transcripts for prerequisites by Aug. 15
  • IMPORTANT: All pre-pharmacy coursework must be completed with a C- or better and transcripts must be received in the Office of Student Affairs prior to the start of classes.
