All new students entering the MS in Regulatory Science program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Fall 2022 are eligible to apply for the program’s Ellen H. Yankellow Scholarship.
The scholarship will cover tuition for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 (up to $9,500).
How to Apply:
For Fall 2022, all students accepted into the MS in Regulatory Science program will be asked if they would like to apply for the scholarship. Scholarship application materials will include:
- Student Program Application
- CV
- Statement of Purpose
- Letters of Reference
- TOEFL/IELTS, if applicable
- Scholarship Impact Statement
Evaluation Criteria:
Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Outstanding achievements in regulatory science
- Future promise in drug/biologics development or evaluation, including planned impact of MS in Regulatory Science program on the student
- Impact of scholarship on student
Award preference will be given to students whose employer is not paying/reimbursing tuition.
About Ellen Yankellow:
Ellen H. Yankellow, PharmD ’96, BSP ’73, is the president and chief executive officer of Correct Rx Pharmacy Services and a national leader in the advancement of clinical pharmacy for institutions. An honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, where she received both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), she has been recognized by numerous regional and national organizations for her philanthropy, commitment to the pharmacy profession, and community activism.
