Pharmaceutical Research Computing Welcomes Tanisha Gooden, Our New Research Pharmacist!

Tanisha earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Technology, Jamaica. She has a master’s degree in public health from Drexel University, located in Philadelphia, where she majored in community health and disease prevention. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University. Before joining PRC, Tanisha worked at Johns Hopkins University, where she was based at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC). There, she coordinated various research studies, including large multi-center clinical trials focusing on women’s health and the development of new contraceptive drugs and devices. Tanisha also assisted with the development of the new HIV testing program in the emergency department at JHBMC. Tanisha’s dynamic background in pharmacy, health care research, public health, and program building is ideal for her new role as our research pharmacist. We are excited to have her join our team!
