Course OfferingsAbout the Courses:

Tablets and Capsules Hands-On Short Course: This comprehensive course takes participants through the entire manufacturing process from raw material assessment and formulation development, through the unit operations of manufacturing, PAT monitoring methods, and end-product testing and quality control. It is designed for industrial researchers who work in formulation development, process development, quality control, and administration, but is also ideal for FDA regulators who work in CMC review as well as FDA labs involved in product quality evaluation. Laboratory exercises are led by leading vendors using state-of-the-art equipment.

Chemometrics for the Pharmaceutical Scientist (Not Currently Offered): Through in-depth lectures, laboratory demonstrations, tutorials, and computer based exercises, this course will introduce participants to chemometric model development and validation for implementation in product development and manufacturing. The computer tutorials and exercises will use real-world cases studies from the pharmaceutical industry. This course is designed for industrial researchers who work in formulation development, process development, quality control, and administration, and is also ideal for regulators from the FDA who work in CMC review, field inspection, and research involving product quality evaluation. No prior knowledge is needed to begin this course, although some knowledge of basic statistics and elementary linear algebra is useful.
