Antimicrobial Stewardship
Maryland has some of the highest rates of antibiotic resistant infections in the United States. To help address this challenge, the Lamy Center partnered with the Maryland Department of Health to develop the Antimicrobial Stewardship in Long-Term Care Facilities -- "Maryland Train-the-Trainer Program," which offers a selection of programs, trainings, and other educational opportunities to help promote antimicrobial stewardship among health care professionals at long-term care and nursing facilities.
