Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PSC)
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a recognized leader in the field of drug discovery and development. The interdisciplinary faculty with expertise in structure-based drug design, pharmacogenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics and nanotechnology are advancing basic and applied science in the enhancement of human health and well being.
Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR)
The Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research improves health care through research, innovation, collaboration, advocacy, and excellence in pharmacy education. Faculty conduct clinical, translational, and outcomes research to improve medication safety, effectiveness, and policy, while working in multidisciplinary teams across Maryland to translate discoveries into patient care. The department trains future pharmacists, researchers, and postdoctoral scholars to become leaders in pharmacy practice and research.
