Update on the Maryland MPJE
Beginning June 1, 2026, the Maryland Board of Pharmacy will allow pharmacist licensure applicants to take either the Uniform Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (U-MPJE) or the Maryland MPJE as part of licensure requirements.
The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy will no longer provide a live review or review materials for the Maryland MPJE.

Federal and state laws that are relevant to pharmacy practice are publicly available online for self-study. Links have been compiled into one convenient place on the University's Health Sciences and Human Services Library Pharmacy Law guide.
Note: Individuals who register to attend the live review course do not need to purchase the study materials separately. The materials will be provided as part of your course registration.

These are the same materials that are used in the annual review and include a comprehensive outline of the federal and Maryland laws related to pharmacy practice, two 100-question practice tests with answers, and practical tips and test-taking strategies.
