- Structure of basic SAS® programs.
- Generate code using SAS Studio.
- Convert text files and spreadsheets to SAS datasets.
- Write programs to subset the beneficiary dataset and learn how the how the data step works.
- SAS Formats to make data readable and to use as a lookup table.
- Different ways to do look up tables and to merge datasets by using beneficiary and inpatient and outpatient claims datasets.
- Methods to verify your results.
- Working with dates.
- Arrays, do loops, if blocks, summarizing information while completing the analysis program.
- Reporting options and graphics.
- Question and answers with subject matter experts.
