Brittany Harris is a senior community program specialist with The PATIENTS Program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP).

As a proud Baltimorean and graduate of the University of Baltimore, Brittany is a passionate advocate for community engagement, youth development, and social change. With over 10 years of experience and service in various community-based organizations, Brittany has dedicated her life to empowering marginalized communities and amplifying their voices. 

Majoring in community studies and civic engagement, Brittany possesses a deep understanding of the complex social issues that affect underserved communities. Through her academic studies and practical experiences, she has developed a strong foundation in community organizing, policy analysis, and grassroots advocacy. 

Driven by a desire to create positive change, Brittany has actively engaged with diverse communities throughout Baltimore. She has worked closely with local nonprofits, government agencies, and community leaders to develop and implement programs that address critical issues such as education, youth opportunities healthcare, housing, and economic empowerment. 

In addition to her hands-on work, Brittany is also a skilled strategist and advocate. She has conducted extensive research alongside community-led organizations on community needs and disparities, using her findings to inform policy recommendations and drive systemic change. Her ability to capture the community's voice and translate it into actionable strategies has made her a respected and influential figure in the field.
