Scheduled for Monday, December 5, 2016, Protein Aggregation Measurement in Biotherapeutics: Established and Emerging Techniques is a one-day public conference that will focus on analytical technologies for protein aggregation, with an emphasis on sub-visible particles. Both established and emerging technologies will be presented and discussed. The conference will include both podium presentations and panel discussions, featuring speakers from academia, government and regulatory agencies, and industry.

The workshop will be held at the School of Pharmacy, located at 20 N. Pine Street in Baltimore, Md.

About the Organizers:

A collaborative partnership between the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with support from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the University of Maryland Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (M-CERSI) focuses on modernizing and improving the ways drugs and medical devices are reviewed and evaluated.
  The Bio- and Nano-technology Center at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy strives to foster a multidisciplinary research environment that provides expertise and facilitates collaborations for the design, development, and use of nanosystems for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.
