Senior Health Program Specialist position (Requisition #230000YI)
The University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) School of Pharmacy has an opening for a Senior Health Program Specialist to work with their PATIENTS Program within the department of Pharmacy Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR). The PATIENTS Program envisions a world in which patients and stakeholders are heard, inspired, and empowered to co-develop patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR). The Senior Health Program Specialist will support the expansion of the PATIENTS Program’s clinical and translational research portfolio. The portfolio is grounded in patient-centered and community-engaged research to advance health equity guided by the PATIENTS 10-Step Engagement Framework.
Some of the primary duties include working in collaboration with programmatic leadership to plan, develop, administer and coordinate the conduct of patient-centered activities in the context of clinical trials, clinical and translational research and related activities; serving as a subject matter expert in clinical research regulatory requirements and facilitate compliance with applicable institutional, sponsor and governmental policies and laws; preparing and submitting regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB); and ensuring that goals, objectives, and deliverables specified are accomplished in accordance within priorities, time and funding limitations, or other specifications, and more.

OPEN RANK: Qualitative Research Data Analyst or Senior Research Data Analyst (Partial Telework Available) - (2300013H)
The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), School of Pharmacy is currently seeking a creative, motivated, and disciplined candidate to fill the Qualitative Research Data Analyst or Senior Qualitative Research Data Analyst position within the PATIENTS Program under the department of Pharmacy Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR). This position will be filled based on the candidate's education and experience. The PATIENTS Program is an interdisciplinary research team of community partners and researchers that work to change the way we think about research by creating a path for health equity in West Baltimore. Both positions are eligible for a hybrid teleworking schedule.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall strategic direction research and training initiatives of the PATIENTS program, through oversight of qualitative, patient-centered outcomes and health equity research. Oversee major research initiatives that include the development related to ethical and human subjects protections (HSP) issues; provide guidance on the study design to be more inclusive of patient and stakeholder engagement, qualitative and mixed-methods research activities; support patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) and community-engaged research (CEnR) studies on the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) campus in collaboration with the UMB Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR); implementation science; PCOR-related initiatives for reducing health disparities; and dissemination of findings to patients and other stakeholders and the communities we serve.
