Below are tools and resources you may need in planning your activity and submitting your application.

Activity Announcement Guidance: Activity announcements and marketing/promotional materials must include specific information per ACPE policy. Use this document as a checklist when creating your activity announcement.

Application Previews: View the Activity Application Preview and the CE Event Form Preview to view the questions asked on each form. These are preview documents only; all applications must be submitted via the online forms.

Attendance Sheet Template: Use this as a guide for your attendance sign-in sheet if you do not already have a template. You may update this template to meet the needs of your specific activity. All attendees must sign-in to your activity in order to receive CE credit. You must provide verification of attendance for those completing the activity virtually (i.e., webinar attendees).

Activity Timeline: This table provides an overview of deadlines and important dates during the activity planning process, application submission, as well as pre- and post-activity dates.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form: The Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure form must be completed by all persons in a position to control the content of the CE activity. All relevant financial relationships must be declared. Speaker disclosure forms are submitted during the application process; planning committee disclosure forms can be emailed to continuinged@rx.umaryland.edu.

Home Study Hour Justification Template: For home study activities written justification for the amount of CE Contact Hours is required. Use this template to submit the justification to the Office of Continuing Education. This template also contains links to a Workload Estimator you can use to calculate the time required for certain activities.

Joint Provider Guidance: The Joint Provider Guidance document outlines the process for a CE activity from the initial planning through final invoicing and the role of the Joint Provider Planning Committee.

Module Development Guidance: The Module Development Guidance document is an outline of the process used by OCPE to create and develop online, home study modules. 

Pharmacy Keywords: ACPE requires keywords related to the activity content. The Pharmacy Keywords is the full list of ACPE-approved keywords.

Speaker Guidance: The Speaker Guidance document contains information regarding the development and writing of learning objectives.
