Event Summary: Dr. Kimberly Claeys will review best practices to develop antibiograms based on local susceptibility data and practical considerations on how to measure the success of changes made at your practice site incorporating this data. Dr. Claeys, an antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist, will also review common methods used to implement changes utilizing antibiogram data, metrics to measure progress effectiveness, and answer practical questions regarding collection and assessment of this data.
Event Objectives:
At the end of the webinar, participants should be able to:
  • Review properties of antibiograms that can be incorporated into facility's policies and procedures
  • Discuss key concepts of how to optimize use of local susceptibility data at your practice site
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to measure process and outcome metrics to evaluate incorporating antibiogram data at your practice site
