The Office of Continuing Education offers a wide range of services related to the delivery of continuing education activities for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other health care professionals across the state of Maryland and beyond.
The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s Office of Continuing Education is an ACPE-accredited provider. The Office of Continuing Education works with individuals within the University of Maryland, Baltimore schools seeking ACPE credit for educational or training activities for pharmacists, technicians, and other health care providers. Each educational activity approved by the Office undergoes a thorough review process to ensure its academic integrity and adherence to the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education’s (ACPE) standards and policies. Activities can be delivered online, through traditional face-to-face formats, or in hybrid formats.
The Office of Continuing Education is a licensed provider of the American Pharmacists Association’s (APhA) certificate programs in Immunization Delivery, Medication Therapy Management, and Diabetes Care. If you are interested in holding a private training session, the office can arrange for delivery of these training programs at your organization’s site.
