A hallmark of the MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PSC) program is the completion of a biopharmaceutical research internship.

The state of Maryland is home to one of the largest life science research hubs in the United States. Students enrolled in the MS in PSC program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and at the Universities at Shady Grove will be able to take advantage of the campus’s prime location when completing a biopharmaceutical research internship with a researcher or scientist mentor from the university, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, or government agency.

This internship will help students gain hands-on experience in the laboratory, while equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of research and leadership positions after graduation.
