Financial Aid:

The MS in PSC program does not offer scholarships, assistantships, or grants to incoming students.

As a starting point, financial aid assistance requires completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit the FAFSA website to complete and submit this form to the U.S. Department of Education. The best potential source of financial aid is the Federal Stafford Loan, which relies on students' completion of the FAFSA.

For more information about state scholarships for Maryland residents, please visit the UMB Student Financial Assistance and Education webpage.

Please contact the UMB Student Financial Assistance and Education office with questions or for additional financial aid information.

Student Insurance:

All full-time students taking nine (9) or more credit hours must be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished by selecting the waiver option on the Health Insurance Decision Form. Any students taking fewer than nine (9) credit hours are eligible to enroll on a voluntary basis.

The 2022-2023 insurance fee is $2,218 in the fall semester and $2,182 in the spring semester.
