At the end of the webinar, participants should be able to:

  1. Review core concepts of antibiotic susceptibility and cumulative antibiotic susceptibility data/antibiograms.
  2. Identify best practices for developing and maintaining annual antibiograms in long-term care.
  3. Define how cumulative susceptibility data/antibiograms can be used in surveillance programs.
  4. Discuss resources available to long-term care facilities through the Maryland Department of Health.
