Pharmacy residency and fellowship programs at the University of Maryland provide innovative educational, research, and practice settings in which trainees can gain the knowledge and skills they need to become successful practicing pharmacists and obtain competitive positions in their respective specialties.

Pharmacy residency and fellowship programs available through the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the University of Maryland Medical Center, encompass a wide array of specialties.

PLEASE NOTE: The following programs have early committed for the 2021-22 training year and are currently NOT ACCEPTING applications:

* PGY-2 Cardiology Pharmacy Residency Program (only one position available)
* PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Practice Residency Program
* PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Practice Residency Program
* PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program
* PGY-1/PGY-2 Pharmacotherapy Residency Program

Only the following residency programs will participate in the ASHP Personal Placement Service Booth: PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy, PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy, and PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy.
